With the green credentials of a product fundamentally determined before it even exists, effective lifecycle management provides the chance for every step of a product's design, development, build and ultimately decommissioning, to be planned with a green agenda in mind. Lifecycle planning also provides the manufacturer the opportunity to ensure that compliance obligations are met at every stage of a product's life and that the environmental impact of a product is managed and understood through it's life.
